A reminder to all boaters that marine animals like sea turtles, which come to the surface to breathe, are common around Long Island throughout the summer and we must share the water with them responsibly, so if you see a sea turtle nearby, slow down and steer around them. If you see a sea turtle anywhere in New York, please call the 24-hour hotline at 631-369-9829 to report it!
